Home Is Where The Heart Is.

They had discussed this before, well sort of, they had mentioned that it was something they needed to talk about and it seemed that time to talk had come.
For once the two both had a free schedule that lined up perfectly, allowing them an entire day just to spend with one another. This had been nice, nothing over the top, just a lazy and relaxing day spend reading, talking, taking a long walk around the ship and to end it all a small packed meal to share in the empty theater.
The two were seated in the first row, watching the stage that no performance was on. Even then there was something to enjoy, the way the stage had been designs, the careful, delicate mechanisms hidden skillfully from the audience. The playwright smiled and looked to his companion a moment.
“You know, I don’t see it from this angel too often. Sometimes when directing but most of the time I’m up there for behind the scenes...It’s funny, you can be so sure you’re familiar with something, but then seeing from a new angel brings up a whole new appreciation for it again.”
The smile ran from his expression, he didn’t want it to seem as if he was talking this place up as an excuse to stay. Crosscut fiddled with his fingers, staying silent for a few moments before he continued. “I’ve given it some serious thought, what you mentioned before, and well....I do enjoy this place, it feels ‘homey’ to me, familiar to how things were during the war but just different enough to explore new things. But...It is not without it’s limitations, being on Cybertron permanently sounds challenging but, there’s be so many more opportunities. I was scared to stay there before, but with you by my side I feel as though I can do it...What about you, what do you think of it all?”
