Working on trim placement on the hook coat for @tmartin427 :) just the thought of using tacky glue on a cosplay terrified me, but placing the trim where I want it with the glue is quick and easy and less stabby than pinning it and trying it on/hanging it up/ checking the movement on it and since the glue is water cleanable it’s an excellent ‘basting’ glue for. Once everything is placed I can stitch them all down. Setting the second sleeve into the coat for @tmartin427 means this will be officially the end of actual construction on this piece here in the next ten or so minutes (knock on wood) then I’ll need to hand stitch the lining around the armscye and set the trim and she’ll be done!
