I’m back online now

aw man okay I'm in Jackson Hole Wyoming now. Me and Rocksalt hitched through western Colorado to Salt Lake City where we chilled with my slc pals on this sick farming collective. We dumpstered piles of premo grub, chased rabbits, and got a tip for this easy hop out of Ogden to Oakland. We waited for eight hours and then caught a double stack (we rode a suicide car for two hours before we found one witha floor :p ) and rode that for 30 hours. It was some of the most astounding shit I've ever lived through: we saw the sunset over the salt flats, and the stars over nevada, we survived the reno yard in the unshaded-mid-day-heat, and we carved through the sierra nevadas. It was transformative, more than i could describe. After that we battled our way north till we reached Portland. Portland was neat, I read a ton of comics and got coffee with a dude from Darkhorse (after calling and emailing him a hundred thousand times) that gave me some solid advice and he told me he'd introduce me to some writers and I got to check out the building. plus free comics. plus free coffee. Not sure what the next step is. I'm bad at shaking hands and making connections. I made it to Jackson though. So while I flounder around in the comic world I can still make paper baling hay and trimming up fancy cabins and whatever. This is as far as my plan went so now it's all improv.

I’ll probably be rocking out some comics here soon though.
