Is it hopeful or foolish to believe that Genndy is hiding a secret final episode  of the series that will air next week after the samurai jack marathon?

Seriously I mean, the show missed a day of airing due to Rick and Morty, and is it a coincidence that  they will air a marathon the same day of the week samurai jack is supposed to air? Something that is usually done in the anticipation of the series finale? like when gravity falls did it or when breaking bad did it? Maybe I’m too suspicious, or too sad that they basically pulled a gurren laggan on us. But still I loved this series and I just wanted to see jack end up happy with ashi. Also you do not kill a character voiced by tara strong without making me mad.
