Hopeless Affection

It had been a couple of days since Mino had ordered a bouquet for the one he fancied at Yggdrasil. The bouquet had been a beautiful one consisting of red roses, striped carnations and white poppies. Although he hadn’t planned on putting his name on the card attached to the bouquet, when Kyungsoo mentioned the option for some reason Mino had accepted it. He remembered, as if he had been in a daze, how he had decided on a card, had picked up a ballpoint and had written his name along with some personal message to his crush.
At the time Mino had been certain that his crush would respond. But as time passed and he didn’t get any notice from the shop, the demigod began to doubt.
Having woken up that day with the irking feeling he had to know the truth Mino now found himself pushing open the doors of the flower shop that early morning. “Morning,” he greeted cheerfully. Heading over to the counter he grinned over at Kyungsoo. Noticing the change in the demigod’s expression -which was for the worse- he decided to not mind it. “Do you got any news for me?” His grin hiding his nerves the demigod placed both of his hands on the counter as he awaited Kyungsoo’s response.
