Okay, so of these, my favourite is definitely Percysteph!! They're adorable and so fun to imagine/read about!!!

Bowcy is cute, but I prefer them platonically instead.

Jake stuffed a handful of thrice-buttered popcorn in his mouth and nodded enthusiastically. Eridan's lip curled at the sight, he wasn't sure why he agreed to it, and was rethinking his decision with every passing second. He jerkily faced forward towards the flickering screen, the theater lights still on as various advertisements played.

It wasn't like he needed this or anything, sure, his last relationship had exploded in dramatic fashion, but honestly-- he was fine. Eridan was perfectly capable of being single, independent, he didn't need a glorified babysitter cum romantic interest. Captor could take his snotty, superior words and shove them right up his ass.

Eridan glowered at the previews as his-- ugh...companion, vibrated with excitement. It was a blind date, and he had to give Vantas this: English was at least attractive. His sunny personality grated on Eridan's last nerve, but at least he wasn't hard to look at. His manners left a lot to be desired, as he oohed and ahhed at every computer generated special effect. The boy was even saying the lines alongside the actors.

He should walk out, shouldn't he? He should just walk out and let Jake English have his date by himself, clearly he was more interested in a certain blue cat woman than the flesh and blood Eridan next to him.

His mood soured and he sank further into his chair, Jake hadn't even done a yawn-and-stretch move. Did he not realize Eridan was a total catch? That Jake was lucky to have bought him some junior mints?

The sweet chocolate flavor did nothing to brighten his emotional state and he pouted silently as Jake Sully learned Na'vi. James Cameron could suck his dick.

When the movie finally, finally ended, Jake got up and stretched, then reached a hand out to help Eridan out of his seat. A movie star smile was on his exceedingly handsome face, and Eridan frowned grumpily as he accepted the hand up. He listened to Jake prattle on about all his favorite parts, and scowled as they sat down for dinner at a diner. No vegetarian options.

"Well, what did you think? Cracking good film, right?" Jake asked, green eyes a glimmer.

He stared, anger smoldering deep in his gut, then looked away. "Right."
