How could one make circle rim glasses? I have 16 gauge wire, but I'm not sure how I could go about it. I can't buy any, but I need some for a Jade Harley cosplay!

You might have better luck buying “fake” glasses from an accessory store. They’re usually quite affordable and will save you a lot of hassle.

If I had to make them out of wire, I would find a cup or a similar cylindrical object that you can wrap the wire around to make your rims rounded. I would probably shape it using pliers. You’ll either need to wrap the wire or solder the wire to close the circle though and connect the pieces together. I’d also suggest taking a file to it to round out rough edges.

Seems like a LOT of hassle though, so what I would recommend is using another material. 

If you are on a tight budget, you could probably make craft-foam glasses that look pretty good. If they’re too floppy, you can line the back with cardboard from a cereal box or plastic from a milk jug. 

If you have a bit of spending money you might want to try using a thermoplastic to create a nice shape, or a mix of thermoplastic and wire, or possibly foam clay with the wire.

i was planning on it but ive heard some....not great things about it and now without my day job i dont think it’d be good for me to attend! the hotel is so expensive and from what i have heard, the AA isnt set up to help artists succeed...
