Honestly, i think one of my biggest complaints about the KIM system, that isn't regarding the characters or the writing. (See cut below;
It's the timegate. Which, that sounds SUPER silly, but it irks me so much. It feels like such an unnecessary restriction on what is, elsewise a relatively decent system (bugs that are currently present aside).
It's a nice device for lore, and the stories of other characters (If often a bit out of place and relatively stagnent when it comes to the KIM romance aspect, but that is beside the point). So why does it have a timegate? I don't feel like the KIM system is THAT important (outside of the hex, but even then, you don't *actually* have to use the KIM system and can farm chemistry through their gifts and bounties).
But, the Triad and the Roundtable? They don't have those options. They don't have options to help gain chemistry, and you're left waiting the next day for another conversation. It just feels unnecessary.
And don't get me wrong. I don't want your takeaway to be "oh he hates the KIM system" when i really don't. I'm critcising this out of my love for the game and the systems within the game. I just find the KIM system being timegated to be a questionable choice on the dev's part.
One conversation a day feels too... Limiting and annoying, especially if you don't have the time to log on to do them every day.
If it was perhaps 2 conversations a day, that'd feel more reasonable and actually worth the wait.
