It Will Come Back- Do you like to write?

Man I tried writing twilight fics back in the day, it was fun. I used to enjoy writing random stories too, but French grades took the joy out of it tbh. 

In the Woods Somewhere- Have you ever had a supernatural experience?

Not really, besides uncanny intuition over things happening I shouldn’t have been able to ‘predict’ I guess? And my mom had these like premonitory dreams about people we knew dying it was super scary… I mean she’d dream about the person for no reason and within the week we’d found out this person had passed away like… *shivers* 

Sedated- What time do you go to sleep?

..you just wanna expose me… 10:30 pm… I need my 9 hours of sleep. also I get bored at night

Rowling: Favourite message from a book?

ooh this one was actually difficult! but I’ll go with the well of loneliness by radclyffe hall, because it has such a longing for happiness for LGBT ppl. there were so many moments where she was like why were we created like this if not to be loved? why would people hate us when it’s natural? and man it Resonated and I was just shaken while reading it because she was so brave... that book is almost 100 years old and I just loved how she stood up for herself/ her character.

Shakespeare: A book that made you laugh?

I think most books make me chortle at least once, I remember the secret history by donna tartt making me laugh a couple of times, probably because francis or someone was being weirdly nonchalant about murder and it was so bizarre in a funny way

Lee: Favourite book?

I really loved a tree grows in brooklyn by betty smith. also maurice by e. m. forster.

7. Hot coffee: what’s your drink this fall?

well tea as always but one day I went to starbucks bc I wanted to try a pumpkin spice latte again to see if it was good or if I remembered wrong but THEY WERE SOLD OUT so I tried some kind of new hazelnut macchiato or something idk and I’ve had it twice now and it’s good so I guess it’s my new Autumn Drink

11.Scented candles: 5 favorite smells you love?

ooh tricky! I’ll try to keep these autumnal. the smell of rain when you’re in a forest, toasted bread, wood/candles burning, a book smell that only smells good if it’s made of a specific kind of expensive & thick paper aaand finally pretty much all kinds of warm drinks smell good.

44. Movies: Favorite scary movie

Well since I’m a giant wuss I can’t really enjoy horror movies. :( I wish I could! I remember liking the aesthetic and mood of Crimson Peak, and even though it’s not supposed to be a horror movie I was still shitting myself with fear. Maybe if I watched it again it’d be less scary and I’d enjoy it more? Basically during October I just like to watch vampire/halloween related movies but not scary ones.

4. do you like your name? why?

Not particularly, but I don’t hate it either? Laura is such a common name in finland that once in school we had four lauras in one class and I sort of don’t react to the name That much if I hear it somewhere because I assume it’s not about me. It’s kind of boring, would be nicer to have something rarer but it’s alright and I wouldn’t change it because that’d be weird. Also it’s nice that it’s an international name too so it’s easy to introduce myself and it’s kinda fun how it’s pronounced differently in english and finnish. also I like my surname because it’s weird and doesn’t mean anything

30. whats your favorite candle scent?

don’t have one! I don’t burn candles much and we’re not even allowed to in the halls here in uni because FiRE hAzaRD soooo yeah. I’d probably like something mild but kinda cozy-smelling?

I can’t drive loool, but I love listening to music in the car when it’s dark. if it was a long drive and it was very dark, I’d like to put on gentlemen take polaroids by japan (one of my all time fav songs) and just like soak in it. :-D

like physically or emotionally? hmm. why can’t i think of anything. this isn’t like directly related to the question, but I’m trying to think of motivating songs and I love prince charming by adam and the ants because whenever I feel self conscious about my appearance it helps a bit to listen to that

20: Your pet peeve(s) in movies

I probably have many, but one thing I can think of now is unnecessary drama and misunderstandings or when character A is angry at character B for a completely stupid reason and then the movie makes it look like character A was right (I’m still not over how much I hate the boyfriend in the devil wears prada). you know, like when things are completely blown out of proportion because the characters just couldn’t have a normal conversation. Oh! and that thing when someone is trying to tell someone something absolutely vital but keeps getting interrupted and is like “well I guess I won’t tell then” instead of just yelling it out aagh

21: Movie character(s) you have a crush on

oh definitely Éomer from LOTR. in the books he’s just kind of there but in the movies hooo boyyy he’s so cool... I Love Him.

I also like steph from pride and quicksilver from the new x-men movies. like I don’t find evan peters attractive when he’s evan peters but as quicksilver he’s just so cute. 

probably others too but I suddenly can’t remember anyone else. wait speaking of x-men I like storm too, both halle berry and alexandra shipp

27: If you could make a movie, what would it be and why?

my favourite type of movies are movies about bands or musicians, vampire movies, happy lgbt movies, movies set in old boarding schools or universities, or movies that follow female characters or like a group of misfit friends or idk weird people who just do stuff and it’s very casual. so if I could make a movie I’d make one that would maybe be a combination of some of those things. like maybe a movie about a fictional lgbt band. or girls in cambridge who have a secret society. or vampires on a roadtrip. idk.
