While I'm a sucker for characters who have an iron clad exterior with a delicate core they try to protect and hide, I also really enjoy tough characters who have a soft core and want to show it. Thats what I'm trying to do with Hornman and originally he was the other way around.
I love having characters that can display vulnerability in different ways and in ways that today seem like weaknesses. Either letting someone see the heart on their sleeve or giving some trust that they won't be hurt by someone and open up. It's allowing that look under the plating that I really love and gaining that trust to be able to have that glimpse. Or having it off the bat and being able to see the marbling of the different raw emotions of that character and how it could be held.
I crave complex characters that look a way, but display so much more! I guess that's why Horn is my top boy out of my other robot ocs. He shows that so well and there's allure to it.
