just watched the new and improved sequel of black phone 2 and thought it was pretty interesting and alittle cheesy for my taste but yet again that’s just me yeah, otherwise, good horror flick and hope they make a third black phone movie 📞📞📞

Look, I really hate edgelords who think horror works must always be disturbing, extreme, and nothing else, and that if you enjoy more “cartoony” or “funny” horror, it means you don’t appreciate real horror. That said, I also believe horror movies don’t always have to be goofy, fun slashers, and that some of them should actually make you feel uncomfortable or distressed. What really gets on my nerves is seeing people who personally don’t like this kind of work trying to impose rules about what a horror movie should or shouldn’t be.
