Getting back to work on my the xenomorph head. . I was starting to get ready to put the knife to the foam and carve when I realized something didn't seem right. ..To make a long story short, I went out and bought a new mannequin head which I know is the actual size of human skull and I put it up to the pattern to realize that the pattern I traced out from my projector is too big! WAY too big. . Needless to say, I broke up an image of the actor wearing the alien costume and printed it out, put it together and now I'm retracing the shape, making the bottom jaw separately. . I am SO GLAD I caught that mistake before I made it!
