would you ever want to come back as a ghost?

I always say I would, but how do I know for certain how that'll be? often times ghosts are stuck in the past and don't know they're no longer living. It seems like dreary existence. Not to mention, they often relive their death and try to reenact it with the living. I don't want to kill anyone after I die.
