How does Tavros function?
Okay, the whole reason why he's in a wheelchair is because of his paraplegia what with being thrown off a cliff due to mind-control, that's fine. My problem with that is...
just how does he take a shit or a piss with a severed spinal cord?
(that is, if Trolls have the same organ systems and structure that humans do, what with being created by them and all)
Does he wear a diaper due to being unable to receive signals below the waist, or does he have a colostomy bag? If the injury was above the T-12 vertebrae then he would have some control on his bowels; if it is below the T-12 vertebrae then he would have more things to work on in the mean time.
This whole thing just gets further mucked up after this...

The top picture would make more sense than the second one due to his injury being that of fractured lumbar vertebrae/fractured sacrum along with the severed spinal cord. With what we can see he is now without the majority of his original large and small intestines, urinary bladder, and whatever analogous reproductive organs that Trolls possess.
Equius must have had a whole lot of medical, anatomical, and physiological knowledge on top of being able to create on the fly functional prostheses out of pocket metal or else Tavros would have died of septic shock from having stagnant shit and piss in close contact with his blood if he didn't already have a colostomy (that would not solve the piss though).
And where was his spine severed in the first place? Unaided he can do this
He is kneeling down right there. That means that he can operate his core leg and gluteal muscles with no problem.
That means that his spinal injury would, as I said before, be somewhere between the lumbar and sacrum, where he would still be able to control his balance.
