He doesn’t even seem to mean it mockingly, just out of genuine concern.

It was something of a ‘right place, right time’ kind of coincidence. Chihiro had met up with Ojiro after the two agreed that exploring the city was a smart move-- but doing it alone might have not been too safe. Or, well, Ojiro said that, and with Chihiro’s less-than-threatening silhouette they couldn’t find it in their heart to disagree. Of course, the first logical place to look was the large sinkhole in the middle of the island-- but there the two were greeted by a large crowd... And a floating, angel-like girl.
She spoke of beacons, placement, and reward. People ate it up immediately. Exploration with reward-- it seemed to be too good to be true, but the angell-like doll didn’t actually seem to mean any harm. Chihiro could only wonder what kind of A.I. was controlling the thing; it spoke with a human-like smoothness that was extremely difficult to code. Even Alter-Ego had it’s conversational hiccups.
“A team... I wonder if we should help too?” Chihiro let out a sigh, asking the question aloud, though mostly to themself. Looking around, they noticed more and more people lining up, in groups of two, three, even four. It was then their their eye caught onto someone familiar.
“Ah, Celestia-san!” Chihiro called out. The gambler wasn’t too far either, and Chihiro noticed a second later she had company as well. It was nice to see another familiar face. With more help, perhaps it would make the beacon placement easier-- that is, if she was willing to help. Perhaps Chihiro was being a bit overzealous, but they couldn’t help but be just a little excited. The programmer waited for her approach before speaking again.
“You heard the announcement, right...? Are you thinking of helping too?”

She would say the whole situation was bizarre, but then again, she had been forced into a killing game by an obnoxious bear at one point. The Shamblers seemed to be able to possess objects-- The only one Maki had on her at present was a wooden blade. The second she felt it turning against her, red irises widened as she held it by both ends and snapped it in half.
She took a step back, scanning her surroundings and glaring at Ouma-- It was natural for her to be alert of the area. “I doubt you could fight these things. Go somewhere else before I kill you.” It did sound threatening, but those monsters were harmful.

Annoyance is the first word that comes to her mind upon thinking about him. Ouma Kokichi, the Super High School Level Supreme Leader, and despite such a title, it doesn’t seem like he shapes up to it. Whether she means his height or what he wears she doesn’t know, considering how much of a liar he is. A supreme leader of just a childish organization, but yet DICE means the world to him (yet that world is a lie, just a matter of fiction, unknown to the liar) though he’s more a prankster than a leader. Even so, his personality, despite what she had intended for him, was quite a thorn in her side, much like him. He was always so meddlesome, forcing her to have to step in and do what she needed to keep things going, pretending to be the mastermind all because he hated the killing game…but all his actions made her the least suspicious the whole time. A brat that she will never forgive for doing what he did, being the start to Danganronpa’s downfall.
“Hey! Hey Ouma-kun! I’ve got’a question for you!”
Because these two were obviously friends by now. They’d sang Earth, Wind, and Fire together. It was the beginnings of a beautiful friendship, no doubt about it. She stuttered to a halt in front of the shorter boy, red eyes blown wide.
“Mmkay. D’you think dogs should vote? ‘Cause, I think dogs should vote.”

“Kokichi...”
The boy who had given his life to end the killing game, and so that Maki would not become a murderer. The boy that gave him the final clue to reveal Tsumugi’s lie. Kokichi had antagonized them the entire time, but... Shuichi felt regret because despite being a so-called detective he had never once tried to understand the other boy.
He wondered how Kokichi would react to the final truth that Tsumugi revealed to them. Even if he wanted to ask the advice of a liar in dealing with knowing your whole life is a lie, he could not bring himself to just yet.
That meant he had become a liar too. Even if it was a lie of obfuscation. He wondered if Kokichi would be proud, or perhaps Kokichi would get angry he had gotten so angry when he told a lie during the fourth trial.
"I... everything I said, about how you’re always alone. I’m sorry I said that. It was just a lie, okay?”
