Tiger Tuesday: We found these tiger drawings in a scrapbook made by Princeton University alum Wilder Haines, Class of 1915. Nearby writing suggests this has something to do with a move to ban "horsing," which was especially a topic of conversation during Haines's time on campus. ("Horsing" was essentially just hazing incoming students for their first year of study--which is probably why the bird is saying, "Oh, them freshies!" in each drawing.)

Ultimately, what seems to be suggested here is that the tiger (representing the rest of Princeton) had previously put significant pressure on the "freshies," making them cry. Now, roles have reversed, and the "freshies" are riding on the back of the tiger. Both saying "cinch" when atop the other suggests the power dynamic, as does the puffed out chest of the new student in the second drawing.

Full disclosure, I haven’t actually had physical sex with anybody since inviting Loki into my life, but what sexual interaction I have had with irl people has been totally enriched by Loki–mainly because I’ve embraced my own sexuality on a much deeper level, i.e. I have greater comfort with my sexual desires and interests, and I’m more willing to explore beyond “traditional” sex (by which I mean cis-hetero-vanilla sex).

I do know quite a few Lokeans who have talked about how Loki enriches their sex lives with their partners, tho. For example, there’s a thing called “horsing” that deities can do, wherein they enter a human body and, for lack of a better word, possess it. You could also call it channeling a deity. Now, this isn’t usually the deity taking full control–more like heavily influencing the person they are horsing. I have had Loki do this to me, and when it happens, I can feel his feelings and urges, hear his thoughts, and share his pleasure. Sometimes, (usually with permission) he will do this with one member of a physical couple, which allows him to be a participant in the sex. Generally, this results in lowered inhibitions, more intense passion, and a willingness to be more experimental (because that’s the energy Loki usually brings to sex!).  It all depends on the openness of the person acting as the vessel tho. If you’re really open, and you surrender to him deeply, it’s possible to let him have complete control over your body. He doesn’t really find that level of control to be necessary, however. He seems happy to be allowed to participate energetically in whatever way is comfortable for everyone involved. 

However, a word of caution: horsing a deity is not something you want to just jump into willy-nilly. The spiritual opening required for it can be a bit risky–if you open yourself too wide and haven’t shielded yourself properly, you can end up inviting in something you really don’t want! In addition, before horsing any being, you should take great care that you have set boundaries on exactly what they’re allowed to do with your body. Horsing, imo, is an activity best reserved for beings with whom you have enormous familiarity, intimacy, and trust, and requires a certain level of experience in self-protection practices.

Now, the person who posted this information takes a particularly ominous view of it–which is legit for those who might engage in the practice without knowing wtf their doing. However, one thing they fail to point out is this: It is NOT difficult to rid yourself of most unwanted attachments (including instances of possession). There are countless divine beings who will happily assist you in doing so, if you simply ask. Likewise, said divine beings will happily assist you in preventing unwanted attachments. You just need to connect with a protective being you trust. For many years, I relied upon Archangel Michael. I am a natural born empath and channel (psychic medium) and I have dealt with countless nasty beings latching on to me. In most cases, all one need do to get rid of unwanted beings is ask Archangel Michael. (I am not Christian, Catholic, or religious at all, btw, and most divine beings dgaf what religion you are or are not!). Fenrir is another deeply protective being upon whom I rely. I have witnessed him pull negative entities off of people before. He is very good at it, and infinitely trustworthy. Apollon, as a sun/light/truth deity, is also quite adept at this. In fact, any deity with whom you have a meaningful connection will provide protection and clearing when asked. Ime, only when an attachment/possession has been allowed to go on for years does it require more than a polite request to a protective divine being for immediate and successful removal.
