Best trip I've ever had. We all grew so much closer together and had such a good time. I really, truly love my incredible koi family. We took two of the top ten spots in competition, but that's not what we're going to remember. We're going to remember laughing together, crying together, celebrating together, and just...being together one last time. Our advisor (in the ninth picture with me) told us she's not going back to AAST next year because her daughter's pregnant and moving back home, so this trip was a trip of lasts. Despite the saddness that comes with that, I'm glad I had the chance to have the time of my life with people I'm closer to than I ever thought possible. I never planned to get close to these amazing people or to become part of the koi family but I have. And I couldn't be happier about it.
