HOSEA 11pt 2- the LOVE of God
My heart is changed within me; all my compassion is aroused.
Now let's look at the whole phrase...
'How can I give you up Ephraim? How can I hand you over, Israel? How can I treat you like Admah? How can I make you like Zeboyim? My heart is changed within me; all my compassion is aroused.'
Exodus 33 and Exodus 34 are one of the many chapters in the Bible that highlight the characteristics of God (Exodus 33:18-20 & Exodus 34:6).
I believe that God knew from the beginning that He could never give up Israel and Ephraim, no matter how far they had turned away. The devil could not make them his therefore, no one could snatch them out of the Father's hand.
Jesus' coming was not for the devil, but for us, to save us from our sins so that we can have life everlasting.
"Thank you Lord Jesus for dying on the cross for my sins! I pray that you would forgive me, cleanse me, mould me and shape me to be like you! I pray that my actions in life Lord Jesus, would glorify you! Amen!"
