I need yall to not be afraid of the blatant use of dih jokes that the duffers made with respect to Mike and Will, because, it is a part of their arcs and they are literally acting exactly how 16-17 year olds act. I see so many bylers purposefully avoid the scene where the pipe of that sink in the washroom bursts and Will and Mike frantically try to cover the pipe by holding hands and wrapping it. I'm sorry it does not get ANY more obvious than this. This acts as a sort of queer coding for them, think of Steve and Robin's season 4 "boobies" scene, yes it was cringe and yes it was corny, but it's there for a REASON. And I will analyse the washroom scene because what purpose did that scene have other than showing clear symbolism and imagery?
And I'm sure you know what, "laying pipe" means. Mike explicitly saying "sorry we're having a bit of a plumbing problem", while the pipe that they're clutching is actively spraying/leaking is extremely blatant.
Furthermore, all the dick jokes in season 4 were funny and it was there to serve that specific purpose.
they put Dick in the washroom.
pipe- symbol for a phallic object
Who's in the washroom?
Mike and Will.
