by the fucking way odette and arlecchinos writing together is just as perfect as i expected and maybe even more so. like yall dont even know how fucking perfect they are. ofc when it comes to a media where everything is so intrinsically connected through both actual relationships, but perhaps even more importantly themes, i truly believe you would have to understand every single character in the game down to a impossible manner, even including factors put it only subconsciously through writers and designers, as characters run just as deep as art and the human psyche does, to understand your own favorite entirely. BUT. It almost felt like we were missing 30% of Arlecchino's placement in the story from this "simple" interaction. i mean not fully and she's solid i feel alot was assumed but its so GORGOUS to see them slowly outlay the things ive been fucking WAITING FOR. do you know how i reacted when i found out odette was actually going to fucking exist? i didnt do anything i was PARALYZED by joy and shock at how on the nose they were. but also thats just how genshin is sometimes isnt it

I've seen so many people pointing out how curious it is that every character in the Snezhnaya trailers appears so serious except Vesna, who is always smiling, talks with a cheery voice and we even see her jumping around and waving her hand to the public as if she was a child on a festival. And while at first I didn't think much of it, now I'm starting to get to the conclusion that they didn't made her like that just for a funny contrast, but because she is supposed to represent the propaganda of the state.

We know for sure Snezhnaya's story will be very politically charged, and as the other nations its heavily based on real historical events, and what had always been been super relavant in the story of politics from all cultures? The propaganda.

The first thing we saw about her faction was them arresting and oppressing the people, and the fans had pointed out how funny its the contrast from what she dedicates to and how she acts as if she was so happy to be an oppressor, but I don't believe it is just a joke because this is exactly how a lot of oppressive states were moving, doing henious things against those that "got out of the line" and impossing fear while also presenting themselves as friendly and trusthworthy.

That one scene of her happily waving around wasn't just her being herself, she was doing her job of convicing her public that her and her faction are their friendly and loyal neighbors that wants the best for them, including impossing obedience.

Remember that one trend where people would use the "they want you (in the navy)" song to the Fatui to represent their propaganda? To me she gives those vibes, having the brightest smile as she talks you about how nice her faction is and how you should put all your hope in them and the Tsaritsa.

I understand this is something that can make people dislike her as its a very sensitive topic, but to me this wakes my interest in her, if they do go for that direction she has the potential of being one of the most morally complicated characters, I'm seated to see this explored! (And honestly we already got a lot of characters that do as bad, if not worse than her so, I would feel like an hypocrite if I disliked her just for that lmao).

I'd say I'm best at melee characters; polearms and swords specifically

Bows are (ironic bc I have two bow users in my party) probably my least favorite. No matter how many new bow characters with "better mechanics" get released, I always feel like it's a bit too slow? I also tend to run a lot during battles, so I have a need to always move and it can get slowed with the animations

Swirl or Overloaded!!

Pyro always has the best characters somehow. Yoimiya, Klee, Lyney, and Mauvika are all characters I like a lot, crazy coincidence how they're all in the same element group! But in terms of gameplay, I never leave spawn point without an Anemo character

Venti, triple crowned, lvl. 90, has (mostly) a 5 five star artifact set, he's my proudest achievement as a F2P <3

Characters like Kokomi, Lyney, Columbina, and Ayaka remain in my emergency lineup of characters until the time comes (i.e. a spiral abyss lvl, domain, boss, etc.), unfortunately their builds are unfinished and they're not as useful despite being characters I really love. I'm not really focused on the meta as much as I am just having the characters I like, so building is a pain for me
