okay i love byler but im confused about some of the gates so do u think you could explain watergate and flicker gate to me 😭😭

yes!!!! okay i will be so honest i lowkey forget what watergate is. IT MIGHT BE THE SAME AS LOVERSLAKEGATE?IDKIDK don't trust me on that im probably wrong. but i can explain flickergate!!

basically it has a lot to do with the upside down and with the "it was a seven" scene and it's like that part where the lights flicker people said they flickered because years later they kissed in that same spot in the upside down ^^ i know there's like definitely a lot more to it but i haven't looked into it in soo long ive forgotten most of it😓😓😓 ugh i miss flickergate so much

I know its been said before, but it's really striking how different Mike looks from shot to shot in the scene. I can't help but wonder if this scene was reshot or revised after the initial filming.

Lettergate but Mike also wrote Will poems in the letters. At first it started as Mike trying to convey him missing Will through more articulated words but it evolved to sounding much more like longing and yearning and he felt so embarrassed by them he scribbled on them.
