I had a thought yesterday that I kind of wanted to make a short Taiga/Cora animatic to the song Mixed Messages by Tom Cardy since I have that song in his playlist, lmao. I never do end up making animatics since I'm not consistent enough, but it was a fleeting idea I wanted to bring to fruition.

Her artifact's special ability is the “stinger"—she can detach the spike after stabbing something with it. A new one will regrow in its place eventually.

Taiga is aware that in other timelines, she was one of the ghouls. He has since been warning her against pursuing her demonic pact any further, much to her confusion.
She has two artifacts. The second she’s unaware of, but it’s a bracelet she won from cheating a guy that was harassing someone. After getting him to strip to his underwear, she kept the bracelet as her last winning because she thought it was pretty.
The bracelet is capable of casting illusions per the whim of the wearer. So when she touches the next card in the deck, it will paint it with whatever card she wants. When the deck is collected and checked for extra cards, they will have reverted back to normal by then. She has no idea that it’s not “luck” that’s winning for her so much.
Her family racked up a lot of debt, so she learned how to earn money in ways like cheating at card games. She’s skilled in playing them as well, but is just as skilled about playing the people involved. However, she has since become more lax about keeping a poker face since her "lucky streak" began.
