When the deck is collected and checked for extra cards, they will have reverted back to normal by then. She has no idea that it’s not “luck” that’s winning for her so much.

Her family racked up a lot of debt, so she learned how to earn money in ways like cheating at card games. She’s skilled in playing them as well, but is just as skilled about playing the people involved. However, she has since become more lax about keeping a poker face since her "lucky streak" began.
