My mom was diagnosed with Breast Cancer yesterday.

Today while she went to get a CT scan to see if she has Lung Cancer as well-she fell.

Haven’t told anyone that she fell or that she spent today in the ER.

I have yet to break down in front of her but I’m breaking so hard when I’m alone. She’s dying and I’m scared. She hasn’t taught me everything I need to know yet and I sure as hell cant afford to live on my own. I’m terrified.

In the Hospital

So my trip to the gastroenterology doctor turned into a trip to the ER which turned into being in overnight for observation and testing in the morning. I’ll know what they are going to do after that. There was talk of doing a scope to just remove gall stones. I’m hoping they’ll just go ahead and pull the whole gall bladder. It would make more sense seeing as I’ve got a long history of issues with it. 

At least I’m at my favorite local hospital. I’ve got a bed by the window and enjoying an amazing sunset under the lingering storm clouds. And I have Wi-Fi so I’m not bored off my ass while I’m looped out on pain meds. :-p
