看到「Encrypted Server Name Indication for TLS 1.3」這個，由 Fastly、Cloudflare、Apple 的人聯手推出的 draft，想要保護 TLS 連線一開始明文傳輸的 hostname 部分。看起來是透過 DNS 發佈 public key，然後使用者用這把 public key 保護 hostname 的部分…
而 DNS 的部分可以透過 DNS over TLS 或是 DNS over HTTPS 來保護，這樣讓 ISP 沒有任何資訊可以看到 hostname，把暴露的資訊再降低…

Có bao giờ nghe ai đó nhắc tới "hostname" và bạn chỉ biết gật gù ra vẻ "à mình biết rồi" trong khi trong đầu là một dấu chấm hỏi to đùng không? Mình cũng từng như vậy nè 😂
Nhưng sự thật là nó siêu siêu đơn giản luôn.
Hãy tưởng tượng mạng WiFi nhà bạn là một "club" xịn sò. Mỗi thiết bị kết nối vào (điện thoại, laptop, TV...) đều được phát cho một cái bảng tên để "bảo kê" (chính là cái router đó) biết ai là ai.
Và cái bảng tên đó? Đó chính là Hostname đó! ✨
Nó đích thị là cái tên của máy tính bạn trên mạng. Ví dụ như Laptop-Cua-Tui hay Chien-Ham-Me. Nó giúp các thiết bị "tìm thấy" nhau mà không cần phải nhớ một dãy số lằng nhằng (cái đó là địa chỉ IP, một câu chuyện khác để kể sau nhé).
Muốn biết "tên trong club" của máy tính mình là gì không? Và hiểu tại sao nó lại hữu dụng hơn bạn tưởng?

This variable contains the name of a host as characterized or arranged in Ansible stock document, which of course is/and so on/ansible/has. Ansible gives not many ways by which you can utilize the data connected with your objective machines, these ways incorporate Ansible Facts, Magic Variables, and Connection Variables.
This variable can refer to an alias name if you have defined it in the Ansible inventory file and set other related variables against it.
If you are trying to work, based on a host’s entry in the Ansible inventory file, then that entry must resolve to some IP by active DNS. Otherwise, Ansible cannot understand it and refuse to connect.
