This is so convenient, all their friends can meet each other. They can go straight to the theater from here, and go home together. They can finally tell people about each other. He won’t have to keep this secret anymore. All his friends can finally meet Hot Guy Danny, they’ll–

“Daniel Ricciardo, nice to meet you,” Daniel says and sticks his hand out for Lando to shake. 

Lando stares at him for a few seconds, not knowing what to do. Charles bumping his shoulder snaps him out of it. If that’s how Daniel wants this to go, fine.

He watches in silence as Daniel introduces himself to all of his friends. The moment he imagined in his mind for months passing by him and he can barely move. Shock setting in.

Daniel is pretending not to know him.
