That was honestly one of the best conventions I've ever experienced in my life - mainly because I got to hang out with Rinachur and Hotarulilac so much! I'm going to miss you two...until the next convention, right? Aaaah, I am so beat. I just can't even get out of my chair anymore.
I actually don't have that many photos. I don't really take pictures period, and I didn't have a photographer/videographer handler with me while I was wearing my Loftwing - Rin or Sarah did the handling part beautifully, but they didn't have extra hands for a camera. XD;; Plus I just didn't want to burden them with that, haha! So sadly no photos/video this time. I'll have to dig all the photos up as they appear on the internet over the next week or month or whatever. I have a huge stack of photographers' cards to go through because we got so many pictures taken of us! XD
Anyways - we got there Friday and I wore Korra for a few hours. Checked a few things out before going up to Rin's room to change into Loftwing around 3...only to leave closer to 6! Rin takes cosplay way more seriously than I ever thought, and I commend her on it! Wow, haha! So we got to the Nintendo photoshoot a little late, but it was tons of fun. I'll have to find pictures of that later... There was a hilarious one of Rin in her WW Link cosplay running from the postman, and also one of a Ganondorf riding me in Loftwing! I so wish I had someone taking photos for me. Ack. I'll find them, I'm sure... Anyways! We found Sarah wearing Rin's amazing SS Link cosplay and her friends, Yaphi and Aaron and Kelsey, I think her name was (not sure if they have/what their tumblrs are, but Aaron's website is here). We also found Rin's friend Hythe aka Nina in her amazing Medli cosplay, plus some of Sarah's other friends - I think they have tumblrs but am unsure of what they are right now - but they cosplayed a fantastic and hilarious couple of Tingle and WW Link(plus King of Red Lions prop!). I had such an incredible time hanging out with so many brilliant Zelda cosplayers...it was painful to leave, haha! I followed Rin and Nina down through the arcade for some photos and we promptly got yelled at by security because apparently you aren't supposed to cover any part of your face in the hotel area, and we were supposed to know that because it was "in the literature"? And we just were so confused and pissed, but. It was okay. So I just took off the head and walked back up to Rin's room with her (after some delays) to change back into actual clothes. I walked around a bit more and hung out in the game room getting my ass handed to me on SSB Melee until 12:30am, when me and my friends headed back to the hotel. (There was this ONE reaaaally good player, okay? Just the one I couldn't beat. He was fun to play with though :3 )
Saturday - I thoroughly annoyed my friend maybe-its-a-dream getting into Skyloft Zelda because it took about a half hour longer than I predicted it would. I just kept thinking to myself, boy, you know NOTHING about how long it takes people to get cosplay on. (No offense Rin - honest! It was just a funny thought that crossed my mind XD It's well worth it for the time you spend on getting ready!) We headed out around 9:30. I did all my shopping for that weekend that morning/afternoon - I wanted two things from the dealer's room - a wallet I once saw at Ohayocon 2012 that I sooooo regret not buying and the Pit figma(this one was a long shot but it was worth a try) - but I couldn't find them. Sadly. I did get some cool stuff from Artist Alley and a couple other things from the Dealer's, though, so it wasn't a total loss. :D I was so frustrated with that Zelda cosplay, though - the wig just...was giving me so many issues and the yellow belt actually broke - it was because the clay for some of the pieces hadn't totally dried. I just had to stuff that in my bag once that happened. D: I'll fix it later, as well as the wig... Around 2 I found Sarah again (wearing SS Link again) and then on our way to Rin's room to change into Loftwing, ran into Aaron and co. again! While Sarah was trying to talk to them, people kept asking for pictures XD I mean, four incREDIBLE Zelda cosplayers in one place? Yes, please.
(That Sheik and Link in front saw we were taking pictures and jumped in, haha! :3 )
I changed into Loftwing and walked around, having fun with Sarah for a while. We finally found Aaron and co. again and I was able to properly introduce myself, as I was taking a break from Loftwing. I've seen them at other convetions, and I mean? They make the most beautiful fiberglass swords and shields? Sarah apparently snapped a picture of me looking at Yaphi's shield for his Dark Link XD I totally didn't even know! They are just, ugh. So gorgeous.

I walked around with Sarah and Yaphi a little bit more in Loftwing before I was just utterly beat. I had so much fun hanging out with them! All these people I'm talking about here are just such amazing and kind people. Thank you again for making this weekend so incredible! :D

I went back to the hotel to sleep after changing out of Loftwing. Sadly I didn't see Rin all day, and it's a shame because not only would I have liked to hang out with her but I really wanted to see her Toph cosplay in person. Oh well.
Sunday - No cosplaying. Met up with Sarah again though! I also briefly saw Yaphi - he wasn't in cosplay but he was still carrying around his sword and sheath! XD I don't blame him, I'm sure I would've been too if I had something like that. Checked out the flea market (I didn't know this was a thing that existed?? Sarah and co. showed it to me) and bought vol. 1 of Fullmetal Alchemist because it's a thing I've been meaning to get into. Not much else?
Everyone mentioned in this an all those who aren't - thank you so much for making this such an incredible weekend! Honestly, this has been my favorite con. Ever. I just, wow. Thank you so much. You are all such amazing people. :DDDD
(After all that abuse, both Zelda AND Loftwing need some serious repairs. But for now it's to clear up all the backed up messages everywhere, dig up some photos, play Fire Emblem, and then pass out!)
