ColossalCon 2013
This was our first ColossalCon ever. @song-for-the-seasons and I dreamed about going for years but never imagined that we’d ever get the chance to. We went three days for this convention because we had to be back home Saturday night.
Thursday we went as Eevee(Ruby) and Fem!Edward Elric(Me)
Friday we went as ???(Ru, help I don’t remember xD) and Ember(Me)
Ember had been a last minute, throw together cosplay that I feel in love with afterwards because she was such a big hit. The guitar had been made completely out of cardboard, paint, tons of hot glue, paint, a blood sacrifice, wire for the ‘strings,’ and wood for the neck. I had a hole carved in the middle for a speaker. Since Ember only had one song(well, two, but no one really remembers the second one) I had it playing on repeat. It was a blast but now Ru can’t listen to Embers song without screaming at me to change the music.
Saturday we cosplayed Discord(Ru) and Pokemon Trainer Crystal(Me)
Discord was a huge hit, everyone loved him and I can’t wait for Ru to cosplay him again.
