With these delicious cookie dippers, you can enjoy the delightful combination of buttery shortbread and sweet chocolate chips. Ideal for dipping into your favorite hot beverage or simply enjoying on their own!
Ingredients: 1 cup 2 sticks unsalted butter, softened. 1/2 cup granulated sugar. 2 cups all-purpose flour. 1/4 teaspoon salt. 1 teaspoon vanilla extract. 1 cup mini chocolate chips.
Instructions: Preheat the oven to 350F 175C. In a mixing bowl, cream together the softened butter and granulated sugar until smooth and creamy. Add the vanilla extract and mix until incorporated. Gradually add the all-purpose flour and salt to the mixture, mixing until a dough forms. Fold in the mini chocolate chips. Press the dough into an even layer in a parchment-lined 9x9-inch baking pan. Score the dough with a knife to create strips for dipping. Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until the edges are golden brown. Remove from the oven and let it cool for a few minutes. Carefully cut along the scored lines to separate the cookie dippers. Allow the cookie dippers to cool completely on a wire rack before serving.
