Old film photos that I scanned today. This was the concert I went to when I was 19 years old. I drove from Rhode Island to Massachusetts to meet up with internet friends that I'd never met IRL. No cell phone. No GPS. I mapquested directions to some stranger's house. We then drove to New York.

Today, I've been emailing with Darren, who is hilariously grumpy about tonight's show in Connecticut. If you told 19 year old me who took the photos above that I'd be emailing an artist I adore like it's no big deal, I would've thought you were crazy. And that's coming from someone who could've easily been murdered by random people on the internet 20 years ago to go see that dude up there play.
