Places To Stay At In Singapore | Hotel G

It’s been a while since we’ve traveled because we’ve been so busy working so this trip was much needed for us. We’ve been to Singapore 4 times before and we wanted to stay at another part of town this 5th time around. To those who have been to Singapore before you know that there’s tons to do and if you’re only their for a couple of days like us you know choosing the right location is crucial. Hotel G was a perfect hotel for us not only is it in a great location but the artsy hotel look was so cool and perfect for someone like me who loves looking for Instagramable places everywhere I go.

Some reasons why I recommend Hotel G are:

Location:  Like I said a good central location is a must when staying in Singapore for a short period of time. Hotel G is located at 200 Middle Road, it’s near Orchard Road as well as many other attractions like the famous Bugis Street. When my husband and I travel we always make it a point to walk and or take public transportation, especially in Singapore where public transportation is so great and by walking around we can really see everything and take it all in. Staying at Hotel G made going around Singapore so much easier because it’s near bus stops as well as places to shop and eat at.

Service: Ok, I’m one of those people who really hates when the hotel staff is rude, it really kills the whole experience for me, luckily we didn’t have that problem here at Hotel G, we actually were really happy about how nice and accommodating everyone was, not only was everyone really helpful and kind but they all seem to really enjoy their job, which is so rare nowadays.

Food: Our stay came with complimentary breakfast and even though we don’t really eat breakfast (we are more brunch people) we couldn’t say no, the breakfast spread here is so nice! Each day they had different dishes, they have, Indian, American, Singaporean, Chinese and Malay food so you are sure to find something you love, they have a great espresso maker so with just a click of a button you get whatever coffee drink you want. They also have an egg station, cold cut station and my favorite, the carb station (which includes breads, waffles, pancakes, cereal just to name a few). They also have two restaurants are that are located inside Hotel G. ‘Twenty Five Degrees‘ is a burger joint and they serve a veggie burger for those like me who don’t eat meat. ‘Ginnet’ is a french style restaurant with lots of wine, cheese and cold cuts options. Both places have beautiful instagramable interiors.

Rooms: The rooms come in 3 different sizes Good, Great and Greater. The Good size is perfect for someone traveling on business or a solo traveler, the Great room is a great size for a 2 people and the Greater room is if you really plan to stay inside and enjoy the room. We stayed in the Great room which I just love, the details they put into each room is very cool and the look of the room is so trendy, each room has a IPTV system with screen mirroring capabilities and free movie channels, as well as a a working desk and universal adapters. Oh and did I mention how awesome their showers are. The water pressure is really strong, just the way I like it. For the ladies (or men) they have a blow dryer so you don’t have to worry about bringing yours. The rooms are seriously cool, I’m sure you’ll agree with me when you stay there.

Other Amenities: Aside from the awesome rooms, Hotel G has water stations with ice on each floor, and if you are a gym rat they have a really cool gym that has an awesome vintage feel, it’s probably the nicest gym I‘ve ever seen in a hotel. Each room has a ‘Handy X’ phone which was such a life saver, the smart phone has WiFi and 3G and you can take it with you while you’re out and about exploring Singapore, no need to stop in somewhere to get internet, you are automatically connected with the Handy phone, because we had this phone we never got lost and were able to explore Singapore fast and easily. You also have free local and data roaming calls.

Look: The look of the hotel is very industrial trendy, I found each area to be picturesque. Each floor seems to be decorated differently but it all some how comes together, this the exact hotel I imagined when staying in the city and It really is Great. I would stay here again in a heartbeat. 

I can’t wait to go back to Singapore and stay at Hotel G again, staying at a great hotel really makes your stay fun and stress-free. I really wish we had more time to explore Singapore but I’m sure next time we go we will explore even more that Singapore has to offer.
