Fujifilm Instax Philippines | My Square Gallery Campaign
I fell in love with Instax Wide when my husband (then boyfriend) bought me one 10 years ago, some of our favorite moments were captured on it and guess what, after all these years we still have it and still use it but as time passed Fujifilm has up’d their Instax camera game and now they have different varieties to fit your personal style.
Last week Instax Philippines launched the My Square Gallery Campaign, in collaboration with local coffee shops, the My Square Gallery Campaign aims to tap the coffee-goer market-covering young professionals, college students, freelancers, etc. The display of photo prints in an ‘instagrammable’ setup intends to draw the audience to tap and explore their creative side. Considering how photography is flourishing in the generation today, the SP-3 allows these captured memories and moments to be easily printed in the original instagram square format.
In this campaign, local artists and cafes were supportive and open to the idea of using the My Square Gallery as a tool for encouraging creative expression amount the audience. With The SP-3, high-quality, and more personalized photos are quickly printed in an iconic square frame popular nowadays.
The cafes that are participating in the My Square Gallery Launch in Cebu are (Pictured top to bottom): Bicester Cafe (Featured Artist: Kate Ngo), 32 Umber Cafe & Co. (Featured Artist: Andre Chan), Tazza Cafe and Patisserie, Btc Branch (Featured Artist: Kathrynn Dawn Sy), Cafe Caw (Featured Artist: Charmaine Pia Tan), Drip & Draft (Featured Artist: Keisha Lim). These artists have made some awesome designs using Instax photos, that you will love for sure. Be sure to check them out at the mentioned cafes and get a chance to win an Instax Square SQ6

The My Square Gallery Campaign features their newest and sleek square-format photo printer, the Sp-3. Available in black and white finishes SP-3 allows any phone or any of Fujifilm’s X series of cameras to produce high-resolution prints at 1:1 photo ratio aspect (2.4 x 2.4 inches). The 1:1 square format is reminiscent of old school film photography, which is starting to gain popularity again especially with the advent of social media. At 1.3 Times the size of the Instax mini film, SP-3 enables the user to be more creative with their shots as it allows users to add texts to their prints, enabling personalized customisation to the photos and more artist expression from the users. Instax is great not just for keeping memories alive but also in unleashing creativity.
The SP-3 is just one among the SQUARE products of Instax be it a camera or a printer. The first square analog Instax camera is the SQ. It has a retro design that comes in 3 stylish colors. It has automatic exposure control that brightens both the subject and the background for capturing photos indoor and at night. It comes with a selfie mode and built in selfie mirror to capture self portraits. It also has macro mode, landscape mode, and double exposure. In addition, SQ6 comes with a set of three color filters that can be attached to the flash to create a splash of color to the photo.
There’s also the SQ10, which is my new favorite. It’s the first hybrid Instax square camera. It bridges the gap between analog and digital by enabling the user to choose and edit the photos before printing. It really is so cool and easy to use. It has an LCD screen that can be used to view the photos as the user adjusts the image according to their preferences. It comes with built-in brightness and vignette settings, as well as unique filters that one can layer onto their photos. Photos taken can be printed any time, as many times as one wants. The photos can also be saved in the internal memory or storage media so the user can view them anytime then print the favorites. The SP3, which as mentioned above, enables the user to print photos directly from the smartphone or Fujifilm digital camera. It has different templates, filters and other editing functions that one can play around with before printing the photo. It boasts of high-speed printing with superb image quality. SP-3 can also print images from Instagram, Facebook, Google Photos, Flickr and Dropbox accounts via the Instax SHARE app that is available for download not the APP Store and Google Play.
Fujifilm Instax really does make quality products that will last and give you great memories. It has for me and my husband and I’m sure you’ll love all the new products that Instax has recently launched.
