When Starmie tries to bond with its former trainer's son, Goh, it ends up sweeping Ash into an emotional fever dream.

“You see… Your father and Starmie used to be partners. But as he grew older, he began to realize how much hard work it takes to go to school, build a business, raise a family…” She pauses, hugging Goh close and petting his hair. “...and he knew he wouldn’t have enough time to play with Starmie anymore.”

Ash’s chest feels tight as he watches the intimate scene pulse in a glimmering wave of emotion. With a jolt, he can’t figure out if the emotions are coming from his heart or Goh's.

Ahaha I made a little hype board of some of my favorite comments to look back on whenever I start feeling down about myself. I really love reading comments on my stories! Someone invested in something I put a lot of heart and soul into! And shared how it made them feel! Sometimes I forget how magical love and creation is, especially with Ai trying to poison everything around us.

Something to remember, too: All my friends have been so super sweet and supportive whenever I gush about my fanfics!! Even random people I’ve met at parties have been hyping me up whenever I mention it hahahaha.

(They’re all rather disturbed to learn I type everything on my iPad screen tho LMAO)

Here’s the highlights: Ash is a Pokemon Ranger! Ash’s little bro Lei (12) is on their Pokémon Journey with their partner Momo :) Goh is a workaholic mad-scientist and Todd’s new research partner in the Lental Region from Pokémon Snap.

Goh’s slowly going crazy over the course of the story through a combination of overwork, isolation, and limerence.
