Portland were dreadful. Missing Horan didn't help but given the players they have they should have been able to muster up a bit more spark than they did. Houston weren't great, they've played better in this tournament than they did today, they look a bit inhibited by nerves at times but this is their biggest game so understandable however they maintained that scrappy style of just fighting for every ball and trying their hardest and it was enough given Portland's struggles.

yeah their play was just so... disengaged. Sinclaire had her deadly moments like always but there really was just such little connection between everyone. It’s not like the Dash were great either but they seemed to have a bit more conviction and a game plan (albeit pretty scrappy as you say) that they were able to stick through with which was really lacking on Portland’s side. I actually enjoyed this game more than most of the others I’ve watched, there were more chances I found. But well, that considerably bigger end to end play isn’t necessarily a good sign either when it was just evidence of how much each one was messing up and giving the ball away.

Interested to see what the result of the second semifinal is because we could end up with an even more unconventional final depending on how it goes

Stengel back to the bench

Just been able to catch the end of that first half and well a lot of things to work on at half time because they've been having their chances but it's still been pretty damn sloppy

Shall be interesting to see if she actually graces the pitch, looks like she's been partly redeemed if back on the list now at least
