I do wonder how things would have gone for her, if Tania had been brought into the fold earlier of House Raith.

Tania around during events of Blood Rites at ten / White Night at thirteen with the major events there.

Regardless of how terribly they turned out after growing up, Madrigal and Madeline really must have been miracle/wonder twins as babies when they were first born.

By modern day, the average rate of a single White Court baby making it to birth as opposed to the mother dying prematurely is 50% - add any difficulties after and also the fact that conception rates are abysmally low within the White Court, a pregnancy happening at all is really difficult. 

Madeline and Madrigal are fraternal twins born a very long time ago when the odds of a successful birth of even one baby were likely even worse, with the difference in health and maternity care available. Then there’s even with them being concieved given how low the odds of one baby being concieved successfully...again fraternal, not identical where only one fertilisation needed to happen.

Combined by if it was even known that it was going to be twins or not before they were born...as I said, seemed like miracles the both of them.

I imagine they all very much, ardently, try not to think about it, but sometimes I have to wonder about the times where one of the sisters of Thomas might look at him - and see a ghost.

Young Thomas just starting to spar against them, hesitating to go for a blow. How a different brother once did. How another never would have.

Purchasing a boat and learning how to sail it. Thoughts to a brother with an unlived dream, to be a sailor.

A creative venture of a salon. Another creative boy once, who loved to paint.

How many dead are seen in the face and actions of the last brother? How is it for a sister who sees them, try as they may not to?

Does Thomas ever wonder anything similar?

I wonder if the fact the “attic sister” wasn’t actually in the attic in Turn Coat (Justine explicitly says who is every Raith currently in the house) could be she has gone to a better environment.

A thought line which went to; I’m uncertain how much Justine would know of her, but if she did I wonder if her own experiences with mental health would lend any thoughts to something which could be done better - and if she would say them if so.

I feel considering how in her own way she loves her siblings, Lara would listen if something was said. But it certainly wouldn’t be portrayed as that she had.

Not saying this is all the case, just speculating.

Canonical Raith family tree guide reference:

Nine surviving sisters. Inari, Lara, Natalia and Elisa and attic sister are confirmed of them. This means four others exist but are not explicitly identified - Felicia Raith could be a sister or otherwise a cousin.

None of the explicitly named Raiths were amongst the other two at the front with Lara defending the line in White Night. Dresden meets the other named ones after then and while they may have been amongst the other three present in the background, too much attention was paid to those two for them to then not be recognised later.

Unknown deceased brothers and sisters Lara refers to (in a high stress/emotion situation) as countless in number.

Tania is definitely not a Raith sibling. She would have been only ten during Blood Rites when Lord Raith was deposed and then Inari was explicitly the youngest.

Madrigal Raith mentions his and Thomas’ bloodline as the oldest in House Raith in reference to why their killing each other would not be tolerated. This does indicate the presence of other, “younger” lines.
