Impossible challenge for Tumblr users — when a trans, nonbinary, or intersex person speaks on their experience, you Listen and Believe instead of independently assuming they are full of shit! A trans woman says she feels she didn’t experience male privilege pre coming out? Listen to her! A trans man says he feels he doesn’t experience male privilege post coming out? believe him! A nonbinary person speaks on their experience with exclusion? Pay attention! And I cant believe i have to say this, if an intersex person speaks on their experience, especially if you are perisex you have to shut up and learn. Oh my god. People are not sitting around lying about formative experiences they have with oppression. You may disagree with something conceptually but you do not know better than people talking about themselves and if you aren’t of the same demographic Especially you MUST shut the fuck up!! And if many many people you see speak on their lived experience and it contradicts your theory, your fucking theory is shit. Is it that all these trans people are making shit up to feel special/distance themselves from privilege or something, or is it that your understanding of the world is deeply self centered. You should strive to include different people in your theorizing instead of doxxing random sexgender minorities for implying they experience unique circumstances in society
