FAVORITE RELEASES 2014 RANK 5: Azealia Banks - Broke With Expensive Taste

It took her a while (over two years), but finally Azealia Banks did it. In early November, Banks released her debut album, on Prospect Park, after being dropped from her contract with Interscope and Polydor Records (they planned to release the album in late 2012).

Azealia has always been releasing her stuff, in the right moment. Just look at her Mixtape 'Fantasea', a seapunk record, which was just published on peak of the 2012 seapunk wave. And now, she came up with her first album, featuring house rap and witch hop-tracks.

The atmosphere, Miss Banks creates with her music, makes me wanna dance, every time I turn on one of her tracks.
