So I've been seeing the before and after pictures of Melissa McCarthy from last year to now. First of all good for her and glad she achieved her goal and put in plenty of hard work. While I am super glad for her, part of me was a bit sad. She is one of those actors that is hilarious and not through the "look at me I'm fat so laugh at me" way like some other actors. It just made me feel weird because it felt like she was one of those actors that could be herself and not molded by other people's opinion. Now there could be a really important reason as to why she decided to do it or hell she might have just wanted to do it on her own. But with things like fat shaming out there and she used to be a target, it just made me feel a tad bit sad.
