World’s specialest purrer 🐱 🎶 🔊

My parents had to put my sweet old man George down earlier today. These pictures are from the night I found him on the side of the road, back in 2007. He was eighteen and a half and had a long, happy life as the most spoiled cat in the world. In the bottom two pics you can see him being deeply skeptical of our family dog Sage.

The best thing I've done for my emotional well-being in the past year is let my dog sleep in the bed at night. I used to crate her, and that worked up until it suddenly didn't. Now she sleeps with me on the bed, and I love it. She snores, she farts, she takes up an enormous amount of room for a dog who weighs less than 20 lbs, she always has to have her butt touching me, and she gives me dirty looks when I keep her up too late. It's truly the best thing ever. 10/10 would recommend.

#housebeasts #timmy on my scrap bin and timmy sprawled belly up in a patch of sunlight #i wish i had a picture of him from yesterday afternoon when he took a nap in the crook of my arm #i know it was more about having access to the heated blanket than wanting to cuddle but it was still awesome #he was there for like an hour and a half #admittedly we were both asleep for most of it #but it was cute
