Blog 3- 3/1

Dear diary I am writing today to reflect on how my life is going. I am super excited to see what is going to happen this summer. I am excited to see what  Justin and I have planned for the summer. Most of the time we do not have any plans, we just play every day by ear and whatever happens happens. I am excited because we do have one thing planned for this summer. For the past three summers, Justin’s parents have gone on vacation to Dale Hollow Lake. They rent a houseboat and multiple families go and sleep on the houseboat and then take their personal boats to ride on during the day. I do not know if I am allowed to go yet or not. I have not been able to go the last three years but I am hoping since they got the bigger boat this year maybe I can go. Dale Hollow Lake is in two states, Kentucky and Tennessee. The houseboat they rented for this year is 90 feet long. It has three decks, the bottom has the bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchen, porch, etc but the middle deck has a hot tub, a bar, and a slide and then the upper deck is open but you can put lounging chairs up there to layout. Justin didn’t get to go last year but he did the year before. They always tell stories about the houseboat trips and the stories always make it sound like a good time and I really want to go. The only reason I may not be able to go is that there are so many people who want to go and I may not make the cut because I am just the girlfriend so I do not get first dibs.
