What inspired you to create such perfect art?
It was December of 2015 and I was taking a digital art class as part of a textiles course in college. We were learning how to use Adobe Illustrator and I did NOT like Adobe Illustrator. The pen tool is my enemy. I am not on good terms with vectors. I much prefer drawing on paper, and if I am doing computer stuff I'd rather it be pixels.
We were supposed to be designing cards using Illustrator, and everything I was doing looked horrible and I was very frustrated. I drew an absolutely awful dinosaur and sent it to a friend, and he thought it was hilarious and somehow I ended up actually using it for my card design.
The card looked like this. Tree on the outside, vaguely dinosaur-esque blob on the inside.
After that I kept drawing more silly dinosaurs and sending them to the friend to make him laugh, and made a sideblog and started posting them because why not? And now it has about 17 times more followers than the one where I post my historical sewing & non-dinosaur art.
But that is ok, I try not to be grumpy about it!
