✮ ━ top three favorite muses that you’ve played

Top three favorite muses, for me, would be… Toro ( obvs ), Steve Rogers, and Brian Falsworth.

☀ ━ how long have you been roleplaying? how did you get into it?

Funny story; I started roleplaying when I was about 12 on an Invisionfree forum that was Naruto based ( I had a horrible Uchiha OC ). That lasted a few years, but towards the end of elementary school and the start of high-school, I kind of completely dropped it. When I picked it back up ( 4 or 5 years later ), it was very, very brief, on another forum that was centered around APH. I kinda go through periods of dropping writing completely and they’re hard to control?? For the last 3 years I’ve roleplayed mainly Marvel ( Thanks to someone ). Steve was the one who got me started, and from there I got really into comics– so… Toro.

❤ ━ do you have any crackships for your muse?

Can I put Toro and Kara here? I think that’s possibly the most crack-esque ship that’s got potential? I mean. I could think of other DC ships too– mostly Dick and Toro ( because circus boys ), or Jay.

♕ ━ which fictional characters are your favorites?

Okay well… that’s extensive as fuck. In general I’d say that happier / bubbly / comedic characters are who I’m drawn to more– especially the ones with darker back stories. There’s exceptions to that, like characters I really connect with? Like Steve Rogers, or Keith from Voltron? Omg this is so?

◈ ━ share some headcanons that you have for a muse of your choosing

1) I headcanon that Toro’s family is Not White ( I mean, if you connect the nickname Toro and the last name Raymond as being white… then… ). Basically his father, Federico (Fred) Raymond, was born in Mexico. Federico was offered a scholarship to go to an American university under the condition that he would help out a scientist ( Phineas Horton ) with his work and experiments on chemicals and substances that produce or control fire. From there he met Nora Jones, also a scientist, who worked with harmful cancerous materials like radium. Obviously they were both so sick, and they hit it off so quickly, they got married.

2) Toro’s nickname isn’t just a private joke between Fred and Nora. After their wedding, Fred took Nora to Mexico to see his remaining family there. Fred showed Nora the bullfights and decided to explain that his favorite brother used to be nicknamed after the bulls, because he was so stubborn and strong. Nora, feeling something resonate there, decided that maybe they could nickname their future child ‘Toro’ to give the baby the strength to survive, as both of them were so extremely sick that it would be extremely unlikely in the first place that they could conceive.

3) Toro has a horrible sweet tooth. During the war, he would stow away his share of the chocolates and sweets that Bucky won for them, but always end up eating them. He loves ( loves ) cherry and rhubarb pies, its technically how he meets Ann– and he can make the meanest spiced hot chocolate around ( no abuelita needed. )

her first impression of him is that he’s taller than her, which is not necessarily surprising. her second impression is that his shoulders are broader than hers; again, not necessarily surprising, as these fancy galas are full of people who stay fit for the sake of the cameras. it’s a society populated by CEOs and celebrities, who concern themselves with the the ten pounds and the media headlines. what surprises her about him is that he doesn’t just look like muscles – he looks like someone who can do something with them.

she could see through his mask, if she wanted to. none of the high society guests could possibly have been expecting a kryptonian to be among them, and wouldn’t have lined their masks with lead. but that would be in poor spirits, she feels, to ignore the etiquette of masquerade balls, & not only that – it would just ruin the fun. to disregard the contours of his mask for the sake of knowing who she’s talking to, but isn’t that just a hazard of her job ? there are plenty of heroes whom she doesn’t know the identity of, and this is significantly less dangerous. only a handful know that katherine wayne is supergirl, after all.

❛ no, i don’t think so. ❜ she takes a flute of champagne off a passing waiter’s tray, swirling the golden drink around in the delicate glass. it’s a calculated move; at these events, kara’s always more careful to act like a high society darling, to make sure that they only look closely at her because of the dress she’s wearing, & not because they think they recognize her. ( it’s lucky that she doesn’t wear a mask as supergirl. ) ❛ are you enjoying the event ? ❜

Coming to the gala had been on a whim, he’d gotten the invite and had mulled it over before deciding that yeah. He could go to it. Why not? He’d donned a suit and a mask, going for something ornate over something ordinary. After all, what’s the point of a masquerade if you don’t just go for it? He knew that it flattered him well enough, even if he didn’t know the looks from the women at the event would’ve been enough to tell him otherwise.

Most of them hadn’t been worth a glance, nothing to catch his attention in any way until he saw her at least. Her dress was absolutely gorgeous but that was nothing compared to her face – at least what he could see of her face. Rather lovely. So, he decided to take the chance. She could blow him offif she wanted and that would be the end of it right?

Except that she didn’t.

He can’t help the way that his lips spread in a lopsided grin.

“It’s a pity that we haven’t, but I’m very glad to make your acquaintance now.” There’s a gleam in his eyes as he speaks. It’s not a lie. Something tells him that she’ll be quiet interesting to talk to. He’s not sure what it is exactly, but there’s something in the way she holds herself. Or maybe it was the fact that she has more muscle definition than most high society gals he’s ever met.

“I’m enjoying it much better now. Mmm, and yourself?”

oh yes, i’m physically fine. i’m stressed that it’s gonna cost me more than i have, but i’m fine. it just decided to not work anymore on my way to work. still don’t know why.
