We spent the morning working on the house (cleaning and finding junk to donate) then went up into the hills to look at acreages and 'test out' the little lakes & reservoirs in our future home area. What we found was a lot of 100F+ heat, sun, water, and no fish. 😣 We brought a cooler with gallons of ice & water but still came home parched & overheated. I stopped for a bag of fresh buns at the supermarket and found ice cream on sale so I bought three flavors. I put them out on the table, each got a big spoon, and, between desperate chugs of glorious ice water, went to town on these quarts. The feeding frenzy was pretty ugly. #food #foodporn #houseshopping #acreage
