Six new digimon that seem to have a tie to the Legend-Arms arriving in August, Espimon, HoverEspimon and  the yokai-themed Oboromon and Gyukimon, both of which have a similar design to HoverEspimon, even though HoverEspimon doesn’t seem to have a weapon-hand or weapon in hand.

Also RIP any chance of BlackGatomon Uver getting their own DiM card...

So it turns out in spite of the four being introduced in Legend-Arms-centric DiM cards with Espimon’s DiM’s main evolution line (Espiemon itself aside) being Bryweludramon’s line and Oboromon and Gyukimon being on the Durandamon card and both featuring the Ragna Lordmon jogress, Espimon and Hover Espimon have closer ties to the Crack Team than the Legend-Arms and Oboromon and Gyukimon are completely unrelated to any group.

Seems like Oboromon in particular was actually meant to be a middle form between Musyamon and Zanbamon but Gyukimon is a bit odd to be made as an evolution for Dokugumon because Arukenimon already exists.

Kind of wonder if any members of the Crack Team will show up in Ghost Game and will recognize or try to control Espimon (maybe running away from them is why Espimon wanted to find Hiro?). We’ve already seen Sealsdramon of the D-Brigade after all. I don’t think we’ve ever seen any of the actual humans associated with the group before.
