HUVr Tech and their cool boards aren't real
Yeah, like the thousands of people who watched the ad and got REALLY JAZZED I wanted to believe that the hoverboards shown HERE were legit. Naturally, as soon as I watched the video, I got on looking for where I could buy this fantastical thing!!! Because, goddamn, if there was a hoverboard I was going to AT LEAST pine over some "add to cart" button somewhere.
But my research has turned up the cynical worst, it's a fake.
This guy talks about some of the sneaky tricks seen in the video.

A screen cap where you can clearly see some sort of harness
Honestly, just googling the video leads to a whopping list of articles discussing the supposed "company" and what they might actually be up to- cuz it sure as heck doesn't seem to be hoverboards.
Not to mention, this, right out of HUVr's terms and conditions: "In addition, the information and materials on this website may contain inaccuracies and typographical errors. HUVr does not warrant the accuracy, completeness, or usefulness of such information and materials or the reliability of any advice, opinion, statement or other information displayed or distributed through the site." Hmm.
Sorry guys, I'm really bummed too.
