This is something I picked up on while watching Wizards, but no one really seems to be talking about it. Maybe I’m just a big dumb and it’s in the comics (which I’ve yet to read).
Okay, so in ToA how do the magic colors work? Cause Merlin has green, Morgan has yellow/golden (when she isn’t using shadow magic) and Douxie has blue. When Claire uses shadow magic her colors are always purple and black.

When Jim was stuck in the Shadow Realm his ‘soul’ was blue, while Claire’s was purple and Morgana always shows up as yellow/gold. Does the color of your magic depend on a reflection of your soul or something?
In Wizards we see Morgana using her yellow/golden magic before she starts to use shadow magic. Maybe the colors have something to do with what kind of specific magic you’re learning since all three of the wizards (Merlin, Morgana, and Douxie) in Camelot all used different colors whenever they performed spells. Idk maybe I’m just reaching, did any of that even make sense? If someone knows an answer or has any other theories feel free to send them in the notes!
I say “magic” as it is the best word I’ve got to describe what such people can do but, at the same time, this magic is something that is more akin to an ability that individuals learn to develop. As such, some have greater aptitudes for it than others – aka natural ability.
