Wow! No way! I was really starting to feel weird that I have so many chapters, but I just realized something. In total, I'll have 59 chapters, but I've already decided the first and last chapters won't have numbers, they'll just be "Fifteen Years Ago" and "One Month Later" which means there will be 57 numbered chapters. And the book takes place in late 2022/early 2023. Do you understand how interesting that is??! I'm talkin' sports here, baby! Now, I definitely want to keep to this numbering. At all costs.

I was painting and I painted Rose Lalonde but it kind of sucks because I'm not artistic at all (though I want to be) but it's probably one of the best things I've made so I'm happy

His researcher friends are perfecting a treatment.

But it costs $20,000 per year. Economies of scale won't make it any cheaper.

So he's predicting social revolution/national bankruptcy as your parents enter their 80s. ("We already have a similar, incredibly expensive cure for MS, BUT those folks get cured and head back to the office")
