My mom and I were eating dinner alone together and I started talking about how Renu and I are determined not to go to the same college. And my mom was against that, saying we should be there together to look after each other and make sure the other doesn't fall into any "traps" in college:

Me: "Amma, what could possibly go wrong? I'm not planning on getting drunk every weekend and I 'm not joining a "sisterhood" so how bad could it be?"

Mom: "You could fall in love!"
