nope. Caro actively avoids making deep connections of any kind, and because they need to know someone extremely well to form any kind of romantic feelings, that hasn't really ever happened for them since they don't let anyone that close outside of sexual encounters and very few actual friends. They are terrified of being hurt, or controlled, intense feelings sometimes make the ghost stuff worse, and they just aren't built in a way where they can experience romance in a more straightforward way. Even with Johnny, as kids it was a deep sense of trust and belonging, not necessarily love or romance on Caro's side. And when they meet him as adults, its intense attraction and deep history that causes them to have something adjacent to romantic feelings. And they don't know how to process that.
