soo....spirits can kinda feel extreme emotion right? imagine si me just like, fretting about his worries like "im not supposed to be here but i want to help them, idk what to do, i dont wanna end up bothering them or anything could I even help them oh god-"
and it gets to the point where cold snap just sighs and asks si me whats bothering him bc he can feel the emotion too and its not exactly pleasant, this is around the beginning so cs is still giving si me a chilly reception. They talk, and at some points cs can definitely relate to a few of si me’s struggles, esp with isolation issues and he realizes hey, i might’ve been a bit too hard on this kid and after that cs just gradually starts coming out of his shell more
that and like after that i could see cs also realizing that hey this kid isn’t a temporary deal and he actually kinda likes being partners with him so he gives him advice and teaches him how to fight so y’know, he doesn’t end up dying because si me is about as good at fighting as a fish is at breathing air.
Ofc, cold snap doesn’t have a clue on how to shape spectral energy so si me’s gotta figure that out
